Certex Countdown: Looking Back on 2023

What a year!

At Certex, we are proud to look back on 2023. Join us as we reflect upon and celebrate growth and new opportunities.

Certex introduced ISO 27001 Information Security Management Systems certification this year, available for our all clients.

Key benefits of ISO27001 certification:

  • Identify, manage, and mitigate information security risks to your business – reduce risk, increase revenue

  • Build trust with your stakeholders by demonstrating that you are compliant with information security requirements

  • Gain a competitive advantage by displaying your commitment to information security

Contact us to find out more about ISO 27001 certification.

Certex is proud of our media partnerships with many publications and podcasts:

Last year, Certex proudly celebrated 10 years of JAS-ANZ Accreditation. JAS-ANZ is recognised as having one of the highest standards for its accreditation bodies in the world. Only a mere 135 operators in Australia are JAS-ANZ accredited, and all but 25 of these are large multinational corporations. Certex is proud to be one of the few Australia-owned and operated bodies. This is a ‘mark of integrity’ for Certex with clear flow-on effects for our clients.

“It extends beyond our certification services, in my view. It means that as a business, our values, our principles, and the way we operate reflect our strong management controls and quality principles, not only that we provide good certification services.”

Dianne Gibert, Certex M.D.

In an interview with Dianne Gibert (MD) and Alicja Gardini (GM), they reflect on this milestone and discuss what the future holds for Certex.

Certex Managing Director, Dianne Gibert, had the opportunity to share her expertise and connect with others in many presentations and conferences throughout the year:

  • Advisory Board Centre Megatrends Summit

  • Quality and Privacy Training for individual companies

  • New Zealand Association of Training and Development (NZATD) - collaboration presentation

  • Hunter Defence Conference

  • Defence Ready Seminar Series – collaboration workshop

  • Australian Organisation for Quality – compliance national webinar

Katie joined our team in February, and it has been a delight having her with us. As Operations Coordinator, Katie has made invaluable contributions to the iSafe Program and Certification services. She also brings a wonderfully positive energy to the team – as we’re sure many of you will already know through your admin interactions. Thank you, Katie!
