AIHS National Health & Safety Conference

Certex’s own Managing Director, Dianne Gibert, will be presenting at the AIHS National Health and Safety Conference 2020 on the 23rd of June.

She will be sharing her wealth of experience and on the topic of ‘Contractor Management: Protecting the Worker Under Multiple PCBU’s’.

Labour hire agencies regularly provide large numbers of workers to host clients in many different industries. There are many misconceptions about safety responsibility given the limited influence over the safety management at the client sites.

As PCBUs, there are legal obligations they a required to adhere to. But with multiple PCBUs in the supply chain, how should they consult, co-operate and co-ordinate?

Dianne will lend her insight into this sphere and the practical implications for agencies and how to protect labour hire workers. She will also profile a model for actively managing workplace safety for labour hire workers.
