Who are Gorilla Jobs?

Gorilla Jobs is a specialist Australian recruitment agency that focuses on the healthcare and legal sectors. Operating since 2017, they support both public and private sector organisations with permanent and locum recruitment needs. Their team of specialist recruitment consultants are supported by a dedicated central operations function that is responsible for documentation, compliance and service continuity. As Gorilla Jobs grew across multiple medical and legal specialisations, maintaining consistency across their operations became essential. They wanted an external independent reference point, and ISO 9001 provided them with exactly that. In their own words,

Since obtaining ISO 9001 certification, the Gorilla Jobs team has strengthened the consistency and reliability of its operations by undergoing external audits against the ISO 9001 quality management standard. Through this process, their approach to pre-placement checks, credentialling, documentation, and client communications are now standardised. Their improved practical service commitments now include; compliance check records for 100% of candidates, incident acknowledgement within 1 business day and a consistent documentation trail for every placement.

They believe that this transparency and rigour will set them apart in the recruitment industry.

In terms of improvement to their day-to-day delivery of their operations, Gorilla Jobs says changes were seen across their teams. Procurement and compliance teams gained more visibility of auditable documentation along with clear ownership of risks and non-conformances.

Hiring managers benefited from consistent shortlisting criteria and notes across roles and divisions, a defined escalation path if service levels slip, credential checks been completed and recorded before start dates and predictable outcomes regardless of which consultant is given the brief.
