Highlights from the Indo Pacific International Maritime Exposition 2025

Last week, Certex proudly marked another significant milestone in our journey by  participating  as an exhibitor for the first time at Indo Pacific International Maritime Exposition 2025, held at the International Convention Centre in Sydney. While our Managing Director, Dianne Gibert, has attended the exposition for many years as a trade visitor, this year was a special moment as Certex stepped into the spotlight as an exhibitor. Representing the team on the ground were our Managing Director, Dianne Gibert, and General Manager, Alicja Gardini, who joined over 900 exhibiting organisations and record-breaking attendees. 

A special thank you is due to Mark Korsten from Skillphilly and Mary Powell from Sayres Australia for facilitating Certex at the SME Showcase Stand and for ensuring the team had a smooth experience. 

The Indo Pacific International Maritime Exposition 2025 was a great opportunity for us to reconnect with familiar faces and engage with professionals from across the defence and maritime sectors. We were delighted to catch up with our own Impartiality Committee Chair, Michael McLean. The insightful conversations around new innovations in the industry and upcoming trends were truly valuable.

We also had the opportunity to meet with some of our clients, including John McCluskey, Managing Director of Whizdom IT Recruitment, and from DMTC, we met up with Mark Hodge, CEO; Harry Baxter, Head of Government Relations; Patrick Crosling, Government Relations Manager and Commercial & Legal Manager. It was great to see our clients at the forefront of industry events like this.
