Our very own Managing Director will be presenting at the International Council of Management Consulting Institute’s flagship event! 

On 14 June, Dianne Gibert (MD), will present at the 2022 ICMCI Asia Pacific Hub Meeting. This exciting event is hosted by the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC) Australia, and it will be broadcasted globally.  

This year’s theme is ‘The Future of Consulting in a Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous (VUCA) World’.

Dianne is speaking on the topic of ‘Engaging talent to mitigate risk and seize opportunities’: 

For too long business has taken its workforce for granted yet espouse them in Values and Principles, as their greatest asset. In Australia the approach to remuneration and management have been controlled and measured (think Fair Work Commission, and problematic performance appraisals).   

But we can’t take our workforce for granted any longer. Expertise, skills, capabilities, capacities and competencies for talent at all levels, is harder to find for a start. People’s expectations are higher than ever before, especially when a survey found 47% of the workforce want some form of working from home (WFH) arrangement. Added volatility and complexity exists as the ‘great resignation’ continues apace in the executive ranks affecting management consultants as they seek sponsorship and continuity for their engagements.   

It is time to refocus on the greatest resource that all businesses will ever have – our people.  Dianne Gibert will discuss the risks but also the opportunities consultants can consider with practical approaches to engaging talent in V.U.C.A. World.
