Certex 2020 Countdown - A Year in Review
2020 saw our safety clients begin their migration to the new ISO 45001 standard.
These exciting developments naturally also meant some extra work was necessary to make the transition. We’ve been incredibly pleased and impressed with the hard-work and cooperation of our clients! We look forward to continuing this stellar effort with our remaining safety clients come 2021.

In January and February, we kicked off our networking event series in Darwin and Perth. We had been looking forward to bringing our event series back, bigger and better, but sadly COVID-19 soon derailed those plans!
Nevertheless, we are extremely excited to resume the event series in 2021 as soon as we’re able to! The series was a roaring success in 2019 and we’ve been making notes and carefully planning how to keep improving these events for our attendees.

Earlier in the year, our very own M.D. Dianne joined a whole host of speakers at the Australian Institute of Health & Safety National Health & Safety Conference (which took place online).

July saw us reach an exciting milestone: 5 years of iSafe!
Throughout the 5 years since its inception, iSafe has helped countless of our clients strengthen and improve their approaches to safety. Not to mention, 2020 has highlighted how important employee health and safety is and the costs of getting this wrong.
5 years down the track and here at Certex we’re more enthusiastic than ever in assisting our clients to demonstrate their commitment to safety.

To say 2020 has been a challenging year is a vast understatement, the COVID-19 pandemic has seen disruptions to everyday life as well as to business operations at almost every level.
At Certex we’ve been proud to be able to help our clients navigate these new challenges and ever-changing business conditions! From certification to free COVID-19 policy templates to filming webinars, we’ve tried our best to support our clients and we couldn’t be prouder of what they have achieved under the most extenuating of circumstances.
Understandably, we’re all crossing our fingers that 2021 will restore some normality but it’s also worth remembering the valuable lessons that we’ve learned, having emerged from the challenging year that was 2020!
